The rough contents of each pack is listed on its product page. Sample packs contain loops and oneshots formatted as .wav files. Serum preset packs contain presets for Xfer Records' Serum synth plugin, formatted as either .fxp or .serumpreset (which, again, will be indicated on the product page).
Yes, you need your own copy of Xfer's Serum synth plugin to use the files that are contained in the Serum preset packs.
The product description will state what versions of Serum the respective pack is compatible with. As a rule of thumb, .fxp files, which are for Serum 1, can be read by both Serum 1 and Serum 2. .serumpreset files, which are for Serum 2, can only be read by Serum 2. This is important to consider if you only have access to Serum 1.
Yes, every sample you buy from us is 100% royalty free and can be used in your own productions. Read the License Agreement for more information.
Payments are processed securely through our checkout (Snipcart) using Stripe and PayPal. We accept major credit and debit cards and PayPal. Read the Privacy Policy to learn more about how data is handled.
Upon payment you will be asked for an email address — this should be the email address you want us to send your download link to. When the purchase has been completed, you will receive a download link sent to that email, as well as an order confirmation from our checkout system. The download link is only active for 48 hours. Please make sure to download your pack(s) before the link expires.
