Refund Policy

At Redback Samples, we sell digital products including sample packs, Serum presets, and other downloadable content for music production.
Due to the nature of digital products, all sales are final and non-refundable once the product has been downloaded or access has been granted, except where required by applicable law.
Digital Products
When purchasing a digital product from Redback Samples, you acknowledge and agree that:
- The product is supplied in a digital format and delivered electronically.
- Access to the product is provided immediately after purchase.
- By requesting immediate access to the product, you expressly consent to the supply of digital content before the end of the cancellation period.
- You acknowledge that once download or access begins, you lose your statutory right to cancel, where permitted under applicable consumer protection laws.
Cooling-Off Period
Under the UK Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013, consumers generally have a 14-day right to cancel online purchases.
However, this right does not apply to digital content once:
- Delivery of the digital content has begun;
- You have expressly consented to immediate delivery; and
- You have acknowledged that your right to cancel is lost once delivery begins.
Redback Samples records product downloads and access through its delivery platform for verification and fraud prevention purposes. Where a product has been downloaded or accessed, the cooling-off period no longer applies and refunds will not be provided except where required by law.
Faulty or Defective Products
If you experience a genuine technical issue preventing access to or use of a purchased product, please contact us and we will make reasonable efforts to resolve the issue.
Where a product is proven to be defective, corrupted, substantially different from its description, or otherwise fails to meet your statutory rights under UK consumer law, we may provide:
- A replacement download;
- A corrected version of the product; or
- Another appropriate remedy as required by law.
Fraud Prevention and Abuse
To protect our intellectual property and prevent misuse of our products, Redback Samples reserves the right to investigate refund requests, payment disputes, chargebacks, and suspected fraudulent activity. For full licence terms, please see our End User License Agreement.
Examples of prohibited conduct include:
- Downloading or accessing products and then attempting to obtain a refund without a valid legal basis;
- Initiating chargebacks while continuing to use downloaded content;
- Providing false or misleading information in connection with a refund request; or
- Any attempt to obtain products without payment.
Where evidence of fraud, abuse, or misuse is identified, we reserve the right to refuse support requests, challenge chargebacks, suspend customer accounts, and take any other action reasonably necessary to protect our business and intellectual property.
Chargebacks and Payment Disputes
If you experience an issue with your order, please contact us before initiating a chargeback or payment dispute.
We will work with customers to resolve legitimate technical or billing issues wherever possible. Unjustified chargebacks relating to successfully delivered digital products may be disputed using download and access records maintained by our systems.
